GO! Welcome Libraries

The GO! Welcome Libraries® were created for tween newcomers and Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Education (SLIFE), giving them relevant, real-world information about life in the United States while they adapt to a new educational and social culture. Choose GO! Welcome Newcomers for students new to English and American schools, or GO! Welcome SLIFE for students who also need foundational literacy support.

GO! Welcome Newcomers Fundamentals

GO! Welcome Newcomers Fundamentals®

GO! Welcome Newcomers Fundamentals is a smaller, 14-title starter set built for tween newcomers in the earliest stages of learning English. Written at a 0-0.9 reading level with full-color photographs on every page, these fiction titles cover the foundational skills striving readers need as they settle into a new school and community, including school basics and expectations, social skills, safety, transportation, money basics, grooming, and more. It's a lower-cost entry point for classrooms that want core newcomer content without committing to the full GO! Welcome Newcomers library.
