Moral Focus Collections

Saddleback's Tween Moral Focus Collections pair Hi-Lo fiction and nonfiction titles for grades 6 to 8 around character-building virtues, giving striving readers relatable stories that also reinforce classroom values. Set 1 and Set 2 aren't split by reading level, they cover roughly the same range, so choose the set whose specific titles best fit your classroom, or add both to double your title variety without repeating a book. Each set is also available with a Hi-Lo Comprehension Strategies Guide add-on for structured lesson support, or on its own for independent and classroom-library reading.

Themes include: wisdom/discernment, respect/tolerance, gratitude/contentment, self-control/self-discipline, perseverance/flexibility, courage/assertiveness, encouragement/generosity, compassion/empathy, and integrity/accountability.
