Teen Emergent Reader Libraries® and Teen Early Fluency Libraries® were developed to help striving teen readers build the confidence to pick up a book and start reading, moving from emergent sight-word practice through early fluency. Both are written at accessible reading levels with short, simple sentences, highlighted "emphasis" words and phrases, and full-color photos that support comprehension. Sight Words-Based Boosters expand any Teen Emergent Reader Libraries® set with individually sold titles, including STEM Boosters for science, technology, engineering, and math and Verse Boosters for contemporary poetry, and also work well on their own as Hi-Lo classroom books.

Unlike the libraries, Booster titles are sold individually, with each Booster level supporting a specific TERL library, Emerge, Engage, or Excel. STEM Boosters offer a way to explore science, technology, engineering, and math for emergent readers, while Verse Boosters introduce readers to the versatility of contemporary poetry. Boosters can also stand alone as excellent Hi-Lo classroom books.
