Teen Emergent Reader Libraries® and Teen Early Fluency Libraries® were developed to help striving teen readers build the confidence to pick up a book and start reading, moving from emergent sight-word practice through early fluency. Both are written at accessible reading levels with short, simple sentences, highlighted "emphasis" words and phrases, and full-color photos that support comprehension. Sight Words-Based Boosters expand any Teen Emergent Reader Libraries® set with individually sold titles, including STEM Boosters for science, technology, engineering, and math and Verse Boosters for contemporary poetry, and also work well on their own as Hi-Lo classroom books.
The Teen Emergent Reader Libraries® were developed to help striving teen readers build the confidence to pick up a book and start reading. The three libraries are written at emergent and beginning reader levels, with short, simple sentences, highlighted "emphasis" words and phrases, and full-color photos that support comprehension.Teen Emergent Reader Libraries® give striving teen readers a sight-word-based path into reading through three boxed sets, Emerge, Engage, and Excel, each moving students further into emergent and beginning reading skills with short sentences, highlighted words, and full-color photos to build confidence and comprehension.
Teen Early Fluency Libraries® give striving readers three boxed sets, Soar, Rise, and Lift, built to develop reading fluency with teen-centric storylines and full-color photos that keep older readers engaged as their skills grow.
Boosters offer expansion opportunities for any Teen Emergent Reader Libraries® set. Unlike the libraries, Booster titles are sold individually, with each Booster level supporting a specific TERL library, Emerge, Engage, or Excel. STEM Boosters offer a way to explore science, technology, engineering, and math for emergent readers, while Verse Boosters introduce readers to the versatility of contemporary poetry. Boosters can also stand alone as excellent Hi-Lo classroom books.
