The ELL Teen Literacy Library and ELL 2 Teen Literacy Library are collections of fiction and nonfiction books for high school and adult English language learners, including newcomers, many of whom are striving readers with a limited English vocabulary that makes content-area classes difficult when textbooks are written above grade level. The ELL Teen Literacy Library focuses on American Culture, American History, Environmental Studies, Everyday Math, and Science/Technology, while ELL 2 covers Arts, Financial Literacy, Health and Wellness, Science, and World History, all in books written at accessible levels. Each engaging fiction and nonfiction title features age-respectful storylines and full-color photographs on every page to support beginning readers at the secondary level.
