Moral Focus Collections

Saddleback's Teen Moral Focus Collections give grades 9 to 12 classrooms Hi-Lo paperback sets built around character-building virtues, pairing fiction and nonfiction at a variety of Lexile levels. Set 1 and Set 2 overlap in reading level, but Set 2 reaches somewhat higher (up to HL760L, versus HL600L for Set 1), giving Set 2 more room for stronger readers within the same theme. Each set is also available with a Hi-Lo Comprehension Strategies Guide add-on for structured lesson support, or on its own for independent and classroom-library reading.

Themes include: wisdom/discernment, respect/tolerance, gratitude/contentment, self-control/self-discipline, perseverance/flexibility, courage/assertiveness, encouragement/generosity, compassion/empathy, and integrity/accountability.
