ELL 2 Teen Literacy Library gives high school English language learners, including newcomers, a way into content-area subjects without requiring them to read above their level first. Twenty titles pair three fiction books with one nonfiction book across five content-based genres, each book built with age-respectful storylines, full-color photographs on every page, and five highlighted vocabulary words. A full Teacher's Guide, including lesson plans, strategic reading questions, comprehension activities, and assessments, supports the collection, along with a set of 100 vocabulary cards; an audiobook set is available separately for classrooms that want a read-aloud option.
