SEL

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process of looking within yourself and beyond yourself to build emotional health and social skills, skills schools increasingly need to teach directly given today's digital pressures. Saddleback's SEL Teen Literacy Library® and GO! SEL Tween Literacy Library use nonfiction and fiction pairs to help striving readers in grades 4 to 12 think about and discuss the topics behind successful social interactions and emotional health, organized around 12 key SEL topics spanning self-awareness and social awareness. Tweens also have a lighter option in Social Emotional Tween Stories, a smaller set covering the same territory.
