Manufacturing | CTE Journeys Handbooks

Aiden enjoys his job as a locksmith. His favorite part is helping people if they get locked out of their cars or homes. Chau works on a production line in a pie factory. Helping to make so many desserts is fun. Nevaeh is an expeditor in that same factory. She keeps the pies moving out the door on schedule. Aiden, Chau, and Nevaeh all have jobs in manufacturing. This book explores careers in the manufacturing industry.

Help students navigate their plans for life after high school with the CTE Journeys Handbooks. These handbooks explore careers, with a deep focus on opportunities that do not require a degree from a traditional four-year college program. The books dig into rewards and challenges facing different fields, types of roles in specific industries, and the skills and interests that will benefit those considering each career path. Education and training requirements are included, along with next steps to support readers in moving forward in a specific field. Real-world scenarios help students understand typical days in different roles. An extensive glossary is included to help students build career-related vocabulary. Each handbook is approximately 100 pages.
